SPRING 2007 CONCERTS & CEILIDHS

The Pathhead Music Collective is proud to announce its first
concert and ceilidh series @ Pathhead Village Hall.

April 21st: LAU / TANGALGO, doors 7.30pm, £8/£5 *
- Lau: a formidable trio of three of the finest and most innovative exponents of
modern traditional music in Scotland today.
- Tangalgo: exploring the space between jazz and tango!

April 22nd: FAMILY CEILIDH, 3 - 5pm,
£5/£3/under 16's free accompanied by adult.

May 5th: KARINE POLWART TRIO / SOPHIE BANCROFT DUO, doors 7.30pm, £8/£5 *
VOCAL WORKSHOP w/ Karine and Sophie, 3 - 5pm, £10 from box office only
- Karine: folk singer-songwriter+multi-award winner at BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
- Sophie: jazz/folk singer-songwriter, one of the most inventive and distinctive artists to emerge from Scotland

May 13th: FAMILY CEILIDH, 3 - 5pm,
£5/£3/under 16's free accompanied by adult.

May 19th: AMY GEDDES + SANDY WRIGHT (CD launch) / GINA RAE QUARTET, doors 7.30pm £8/£5 *
FIDDLE WORKSHOP (lower intermediate - min 2 yrs exp) w/ Amy, 2 - 4pm, £10 from
box office only
- Amy + Sandy: an outstanding combination of Scots fiddle and guitar.
- Gina: a relaxing, laid-back workout of r'n'b covers and original material.

June 10th: FAMILY CEILIDH, 3 - 5pm,
£5/£3/under 16's free accompanied by adult.

June 23rd: TRIO AAB / DAVE MILLIGAN TRIO, doors 7.30pm, £8/£5 *
- Trio AAB: a seriously fun mix of spiky jazz, drum 'n bass, and funk rock.
- Dave Milligan: acclaimed jazz-folk piano virtuoso with his swinging trio.
