LOCAL COMPLEMENTARY THERAPY SECTION

SHIATSU MASSAGE – Please come and visit my stall at the Stair Arms Craft Fair on Sat 12th Nov and at the Village Hall Craft Fair on Sat 26th Nov
Shiatsu is a traditional japanese therapy stemming from Oriental medicine. By the use of acupressure massage (fully-clothed), shiatsu balances the body's energies. Similar to acupuncture, shiatsu stimulates points and meridians but is non-invasive, extremely relaxing and regular sessions can help prevent the build up of stress in our daily lives. Working on physical, mental and emotional levels, shiatsu can alleviate a wide range of ailments and conditions, especially tensions, stiffnesses and postural issues, as well as promoting a general feeling of well-being.
Sophie Bancroft is now a graduate shiatsu practitioner after 3 years of training . A session costs £30 for a 1 hour session. She is also qualified in seated shiatsu and a session lasts around 30 minutes and costs £20. If you would like to book a session or would like further information on what shiatsu can do, please contact Sophie on sbancroft@btinternet.com or 07989 915 302. For further information on shiatus please also see http://www.shiatsusociety.org/.
